The growing movement of Christian Nationalism in America has learned to build entire theologies on a handful of isolated verses, often detached from their context and disconnected from the life and teachings of Jesus. Instead of reading Scripture through Christ, they use Scripture to justify power. Professor Beck’s new series pushes back.

This resource invites us to recover a deeper, fuller reading of the Bible, one shaped by Jesus himself, and to rediscover the long tradition of faithful defiance when rulers demand what God forbids.
