On June 6, 1944, thousands of young Americans stepped off landing craft into history.

Many were barely out of high school. Some had never been farther from home than the next county over. Yet when their nation called, they answered.

The success of the D-Day invasion helped turn the tide of World War II and preserved freedom for generations that followed. The cost was staggering, but their courage never wavered.

Today, VetNet honors the heroes who stormed the beaches of Normandy, the families who sacrificed alongside them, and every Veteran who has carried the torch of service since.

Their mission became our legacy.
