I saw this trend on tiktok and thought I’d do the trend too! Something my dad always taught me was to “chase the dream, not the competition” and I like to apply that to my tattooing too. Especially with how active the internet is, it’s very easy to compare. But comparison is often the thief of joy, and that applies to art very much.
I like this trend because it’s the perfect reminder that it’s okay to go at your own pace. And that no two people are the same. Be kind to your beautiful self and your beautiful art 🦋🩷🎨
