Science For Tots
It’s summertime! What Science Experiments have you done this Summer? I did the Bouncy Egg with some kids age 5 to 8. Want to know how to do this experiment with your kids? Ask me!
Hi! An arts and crafts project:
1. Items needed:
Sand, large sheet of white paper, blue paint, paint brush, shells.
On the large sheet of paper put glue on the bottom page, smooth it out evenly. Pour sand on glue to make the seashore. Once dry add seashells to the sand. Once dry paint with blue paint above the sand to make the ocean!
Have fun!
Day 2: Seashells🐚🐚🐚
Collect seashells at the beach or purchase at Dollar Store (sometimes they have them in arts and crafts section or where the candles are) or Michaels or Hobby Lobby.
Sort shells. This is also good for developing Math Skills (by type, size, shape, or color). Count the shells in each category
Make a chart. Glue one of each shell and draw 2 columns. Use | lines for each one and then print the number next to it.
See you tomorrow!
It's Summertime and science is all around us. For the next week I will give you some ideas of things to do with your children. The first topic will be The Ocean. Only thing I ask is to share these posts with your friends!
