Baby Beanz Guinea Pig Rescue

💚 AN IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT 💚

It is with an incredibly heavy and heartbroken heart that we have made the difficult decision to close Baby Beanz Guinea Pig Rescue. This will be our final year of rescue operations.

This has not been an easy decision, and it is one that has taken a lot of thought. Since welcoming our baby, life has changed in so many wonderful ways, but it has also made it increasingly difficult to devote the time, energy, and financial resources needed to continue running the rescue at the level these animals deserve. On top of that, we have been struggling to keep the rescue funded, making it clear that this is the right, though heartbreaking, choice.

Effective immediately, we will no longer be accepting any owner surrenders or intake requests indefinitely. Our focus for the remainder of this year will be on finding loving forever homes for our adoptable guinea pigs and ensuring our sanctuary residents continue receiving the care they need.

To everyone who has adopted, volunteered, donated, shared our posts, or simply supported us over the years—thank you. Because of your kindness and generosity, together we have been able to rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome so many guinea pigs who otherwise may not have had a second chance. That is something we will always be proud of.

While this chapter is coming to an end, the lives we’ve been able to change will always hold a special place in our hearts. Thank you for being part of the Baby Beanz family and for supporting our mission throughout the years. ❤️
