🎧 Livelihoods programs—which increase the economic well-being of people in extreme poverty—are an area that we've supported throughout GiveWell's history. Over the past several months, we've expanded this work, creating a new livelihoods grantmaking team with this focus.

In this episode, GiveWell co-founder and CEO Elie Hassenfeld speaks with Senior Program Officer Adam Salisbury about our expanding livelihoods work, which programs might be most cost-effective, and the research we're funding to answer key questions.
