Tenants’ Rights Workshop – Empowering Newcomer Communities
Lao Family Community Development (LFCD) proudly will host Tenants’ Rights Workshop under our Afghan & Ukrainian Newcomer Support Program, in partnership with Project Sentinel – Renters Helpline as our guest presenter.
Newly arrived families will gain valuable information on:
• Understanding lease agreements
• Tenant rights & protections
• Communicating with landlords
• Requesting repairs
• Accessing local housing resources
Workshops like this help newcomers feel informed, confident, and supported as they navigate the U.S. housing system.
