On the Eve of the United States 250th anniversary, we're launching a new collection of immersive experiences that explore the American story through the power of place. From the founding era of the American Revolution to the fight for educational opportunity during segregation to service and remembrance of September 11th, these experiences create new ways to connect with American history and the communities that carry it forward. Big thanks to partners Colonial Williamsburg, NC State College of Education, Historic Russell School, O'Hara's Bar and Restaurant, and sponsor Iron Mountain for making this possible.

In the early hours of June 28, 1969, a police raid on the Stonewall Inn sparked days of resistance that helped launch the modern LGBTQ rights movement. CyArk and NYC LGBT Historic Sites Project partnered in 2019 to document the site in connection with the 50th anniversary of the Stonewall Uprising, using LiDAR and photogrammetry to capture the Stonewall Inn, Christopher Park, and the surrounding Christopher Street area in 3D. This 2026, we’ve come together again to relaunch the Stonewall National Monument experience as a Tapestry. Explore yourself via https://tapestry.cyark.org/content/stonewall
The Tapestry builds on that work with fresh interpretation and storytelling, bringing the site and its history to audiences anywhere.
