Kellogg Rural Fire District

We're incredibly proud of the three young men from the Kellogg Rural Fire District who participated in the 1st Annual Young Men's Fire Camp two weeks ago!

Programs like this provide an outstanding introduction to the fire service, giving participants hands-on experience with firefighting, EMS, rescue skills, teamwork, and leadership while helping inspire the next generation of firefighters.

A huge thank you to Umpqua Community College, Roseburg Fire Department, Central Douglas Fire & Rescue, Lookingglass Rural Fire District, Sutherlin Fire Department, and all of the instructors, coordinators, volunteers, and sponsors who dedicated their time to making this camp such a success.

Inspired to give the fire service a try? Kellogg Rural Fire District has recently launched a Cadet Program, and we're actively looking for young men and women ages 16 and older who are interested in learning about firefighting, EMS, serving their community, and developing valuable life skills.
