🎉 Welcome Chai to California Bully Rescue! 🩷

We rescued Chai just before she was about to be euthanized at the Visalia Animal Shelter. She had been incredibly urgent, and it was truly her last chance and no one had stepped up for her… until now.

Chai is a gorgeous 2-year-old brindle Pit Bull mix with the cutest mismatched ears, one standing tall and one adorably floppy. Add in her short little legs, infectious smile, and chunky 53-pound frame, and she’s impossible not to love.

This sweet girl absolutely loves life. She adores people, gets along wonderfully with other dogs, and if there’s water nearby, you’ll probably find her splashing around with a huge grin on her face. She would thrive in a semi-active home that will continue teaching her the ropes and help her build confidence through basic obedience.

Chai is already spayed and does great in her crate. She does have one funny little quirk…she can be a sneaky escape artist around open doorways, so she’ll need to stay on leash until she’s settled into her new home and routine.

We don’t yet know how she does with cats or small children. She can get a little bouncy when she’s excited, so a home with older, dog-savvy kids may be the best fit for now.
