What do we do with all the Halloween candy? Trust me, I get it, it can be a ton of fun to watch your kids collect as much candy as they can but the problem for the whole family is there is a TON of candy in the house. Now we've created an environment that supports eating a piece of candy every time you pass the candy bowl...it's just a snack size snickers we tell ourselves...but the truth is those snack size candies add up and often replace the more healthy and satiating food choices like fruit, veggies or nuts.

What can we do? Get it out of the house 🏠 How about donating the extra to a local food bank so that everyone has the opportunity to have a small treat? Or have your kids put small amounts in a brown bag that they decorate and give at Thanksgiving drive or send to our troops?

When do you find that those thoughts of doubt creep into your head? For me, it's often when I'm networking…I get anxious in big crowds and start to doubt whether I'll be able to carry on a conversation…

Choosing our health these days is difficult…we have so many unhealthy food choices to navigate and find a balance with and why is the only vegetable in a drive-through typically French fries or a dismal salad???

For me, I also look to God for strength and meditate by saying a few times "I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength," Philippians 4:13
