Really finding my rhythm with drawing food! Also, had a red velvet cookie a little earlier today and that was my real inspiration. I actually quite dislike cupcakes; too much frosting on top. But they are very pretty and fun to draw!

I scream you scream we all scream for ice cream! 🍦It took FOREVER to draw those swirls right and I was looking directly at a reference photo. But I’m very happy with the end result. Now if you excuse me, I’m headed to Coldstone Creamery.

Anyway, this was just a practice picture, I’m trying to figure out how to make things taken from top-down look three dimensional. Also experimenting with drawing and painting brushes. Still a little ways to go but I think it’s a good start.
