21 months. 20 courses. 100+ exams. 1,000+ clinical hours. 2,400+ review questions.

This is our graduating senior class—students who have poured their hearts and minds into every step of this journey. Every assignment, every patient interaction, and every challenge has shaped them into the professionals they are today.

We are incredibly proud of all they’ve accomplished and the resilience they’ve shown along the way. Congratulations to our graduates—you’ve earned this moment.

Twice a year, our senior students put their anatomy knowledge to the test in one of our favorite traditions: the skeleton build! Teams race to assemble an anatomically correct human skeleton as part of their Registry Review.

A strong understanding of skeletal anatomy is essential in radiography, guiding accurate positioning, image evaluation, and overall patient care.

Congratulations to this semester's winning team, Farah and Liv, for their speed and accuracy—and for earning their very own skeleton trophies! 💀

We’re proud to recognize Associate Professor and Clinical Support Specialist Jodi Faulk for her recent presentation at the ISSRT Annual Conference. Her session, Teaching Through Reflection: How Debriefing Improves Clinical Performance, explored practical debriefing strategies used in healthcare and how reflection can strengthen learning, confidence, critical thinking, and decision-making in the clinical environment.

Jodi’s dedication to student success and innovation in radiography education continues to make a lasting impact both in our program and throughout the profession. Congratulations, Jodi, on representing Lewis University so well!

The Lewis University Radiography Program was proud to make its first appearance in the Scholar Bowl competition at the Illinois State Society of Radiologic Technologists (.media) Annual Conference. Our students represented the university with professionalism, teamwork, and impressive knowledge as they competed against programs from across the state.

While we did not capture the championship this year, the team performed exceptionally well and made our faculty, classmates, and university community incredibly proud. Participating in this event was an exciting milestone for the program, and we look forward to building on this success in the years ahead.

Our annual service day is one of the most meaningful traditions in the Lewis University Radiography Program. This year, our senior students (along with a few juniors) spent the day at Feed My Starving Children giving back and making an impact beyond the classroom.

It’s more than just volunteering; it's a powerful lesson in communication, teamwork, and serving a greater community. Proud of our students for showing up and representing what this profession is all about.

Our senior students (Class of May and August 2026) had an incredible opportunity at yesterday's Career Fair, connecting with 8 different hospital systems and learning about what comes next after graduation.

From hiring managers and department leaders to technologists and even our own alumni, students gained valuable insight into the job search process and what it takes to succeed in the field.

A huge thank you to all of our guests: Northwestern Medicine, Advocate Health, Prime Healthcare, Silver Cross Hospital, Endeavor Health, University of Chicago Medicine, and Mount Sinai (not pictured). We're grateful for your investment in our students and supporting the next generation of radiologic technologists!

Yesterday, our students participated in the IPE Health Fair, collaborating with peers from Speech-Language Pathology, Physical Therapy, Nursing, and Exercise Science. Together, they explored how medical imaging plays an important role not only in diagnosis, but also as a powerful screening tool in healthcare.

From DEXA scans and CT lung screenings to chest radiography, students had the opportunity to educate one another on how imaging helps detect disease early and support preventive care. A great day of interprofessional learning and collaboration!
