NLAS has announced nominees for the 2026-2028 NLAS Executive Board.
President-Elect – Rick McClelland
Secretary – Phillip Rauscher
Treasurer – Tom Miller
Member-at-Large – James Whitehead
Member-at-Large – Kevin Westly
Biographies for the nominees are published in the Spring 2026 issue of Lutheran Scouting. Current registered members will be asked to vote via email ballot in May 2026.
The current President-Elect Ben Wheeler will assume the position of President at the next Annual Meeting later this year. New to the Board, but not an elected position, Phil Jensen will be appointed as Membership Chair.

Need Girl Scout help. There will be an interfaith service at 4:15 - 4:50 PM on July 23, opening day of the Girl Scout Unite event in Washington, DC. A call is out for participation from Lutheran Girl Scouts. It will obviously be short at 35 minutes for the event. Do we have any Girl Scouts attending the event who would like to participate?
