We're sharing this with the hope of bringing home a missing piece of artwork.

On Wednesday morning, the handcrafted mosaic piece pictured disappeared, and we'd very much like to get it back to the wall.

We're hoping this was a misunderstanding or an impulsive decision that can be corrected. If the piece is returned, there will be absolutely no questions asked.

Unfortunately, if it is not returned, we do have video footage of the incident and will need to file a police report.

This piece represents many hours of an artist's time and creativity, and we'd love to see it safely back where it belongs so it can be purchased by the right buyer.

As Made Local Marketplace continues to grow, we're looking for a special person to join our team! We're hiring a part-time Marketplace Operations Associate to help support our Santa Rosa and Novato stores, work alongside local makers, assist with events and social media, and learn the behind-the-scenes operations of a locally owned business.

This role is perfect for someone who enjoys variety, takes initiative, loves community, and is excited to grow with a small business. The position will primarily include weekend hours in our stores, with opportunities for additional weekday project work including merchandising, content creation, events, inventory, and special projects.

What makes this role unique is that it isn't just retail. We're looking for someone who wants to become part of our community and help us continue supporting local artists, makers, farmers, and small businesses throughout the North Bay.
