Views From Above

Soaring high above the Pacific in my Piper Cherokee, looking east across the full sweep of San Francisco. Golden Gate Park stretches like a green ribbon through the heart of the city, framed by the Sunset and Richmond. The downtown skyline rises in the distance, while the familiar grid of neighborhoods—Haight, Mission, Castro, Twin Peaks—spill toward the Bay. A rare, clear-day view of the City by the Bay in all its layered beauty.

Golden light kissed the cliffs of Double Point, carving shadows along the wild edge of Point Reyes. From 2,000 feet in the Piper Cherokee, the coastline stretched timeless and untamed—one of those California moments that feels like it could last forever.
