At a time when youth mental health challenges continue to rise across Marin County and beyond, Marin Charitable is proud to announce the inaugural Wilhelm Grant: A new, periodic initiative designed to support transformational opportunities for youth and families in the community.
The first recipient of the Wilhelm Grant is the Community Institute for Psychotherapy (https://cipmarin.org/about/) (CIP), which will receive $25,000 to launch a new, whole-family therapy initiative focused on supporting children and caregivers together through counseling, assessment, communication support, trauma-informed care, and family healing.
The grant, the largest single gift in Marin Charitable’s 65-year history, will fund approximately 555 hours of therapy for nearly 30 families, providing an average of 18.5 sessions per family.
