Every day, Ashley and Delores help deliver more than mail at the Coast Guard Academy—they help deliver connection, encouragement, and a reminder of home to cadets serving our country. We’re thrilled to announce that Dan Hurley will be joining us at this year’s Annual Car Show from 5pm- 7pm, where he’ll have the honor of choosing our Best in Show winner!🥇

We’ll also be hosting a food drive in collaboration with Veterans Rally Pointy x Feeding America, so please bring non-perishable food items and hygiene products to fill an F-150 and support local veterans! 🥫🪥

Jane Nygren serves as a case manager with the SSG Fox Su***de Prevention Program, helping connect Veterans and their families to resources, support services, and personalized care designed to improve well-being and reduce isolation.

Through outreach, case management, and ongoing support, our team is committed to ensuring no Veteran feels alone in their journey.

Services are available in both Norwich and Windsor, Connecticut.

Nine & Shine was more than a day of golf. It was a celebration of women supporting women, honoring service, fostering connection, and creating space for meaningful conversations that strengthen our communities. As a fundraiser benefiting Easterseals Capital Region & Eastern Connecticut, the event helps support programs and services that open doors to participation and opportunity for Veterans, people with disabilities, and families—improving education, advancing health, and increasing employment throughout our region.
