Watershed Wednesday: It’s National Clean Beaches Week! Grab some gloves and a trash bag and head to your local beach. Removing plastic and other garbage from our shorelines helps to protect wildlife and improve water quality. Pictured here, North Nantasket Beach in Hull. When planning your visit, it’s helpful to know that there is a seasonal paid parking lot at the intersection of Hull Shore Drive and Phipps Street, and resident parking areas on N Street and on XYZ Streets. In addition, the Knights of Columbus, Temple Israel, and St. Mary of the Assumption offer seasonal non-resident parking for a fee.
