This morning we held our groundbreaking ceremony for the East Site Development. We are so grateful to all those who showed up, from our wonderful City Council and County Commissioners, to our amazing Economic Development Board and dedicated members of the community.

As you may have seen, dirt work has begun! Over the coming months we look forward to watching the utilities and streets come in as this much-needed new addition to our town is completed. The finish date for all infrastructure is an estimated October 1st.

The site will consist of 29 single family lots and 8 duplexes. Single family lots will be 140 x 90 with a 20ft alley way and will only be priced at $12,500.00. There has been a lot of interest expressed in these lots, so if you are interested, contact us at 785-874-4816.

The Kansas Small Business Development Center is partnering with the Kansas Dept of Revenue to offer virtual classes on Sales & Use Tax for retail businesses and Construction Contractors. Take advantage of this opportunity to expand your practical knowledge on various filing procedures.
