It’s a tough thing to always feel like you’re going against the grain, right!?! ⠀

It wasn’t until recently that I fully allowed this little saying to sink in, challenging myself to think how can I best serve where I’m at. Choosing to focus on the good I can offer instead of feeling like the square peg 😉.⠀

My attitude has a tendency to ruin the situation before I even get there. It’s a battle sometimes to stay positive and not assume I won’t fit. Its a challenge and I challenge you, if you’re feeling like that square peg, to shift your focus. Look around, see where you can serve, who might need your gifts. ⠀

I’m gonna bet you won’t feel so *square-peggy* anymore 😘🤗.⠀

Hard work or play?
Having Sensory Processing Disorder and being a sensory avoider play can sometimes seem like hard work.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
We try to find parks that will offer both challenges and super easy fun play for my kiddos. .

What are you going through this morning, this week, this month, maybe this year?

I know that God uses our circumstances to draw us closer to Him, but that doesn’t mean it’s any less hard or painful during.

For the 1st month or so of postpartum my anxiety was off the charts, to the point of constant.

At the time, it did not feel good, at the time it hurt, at the time I acted like a toddler whined, thrashed, & threw a fit at God.

I fully expected healing to come, I expected relief of symptoms. I didn’t expect sovereignty.

No, in the moments I forgot His ways are not my ways & thank-goodness!!

There is peace in trials knowing I don’t need control, to recognize He is over it ALL.

So, let’s ask again...what trial are you facing down, what battle are you in? I want to pray for your peace today, peace amidst the trial because God is sovereign.
