Congratulations to Skyway Golf Course at Lincoln Park West Head Golf Professional Gabe Rickards on being named the New Jersey Section PGA Public Merchandiser of the Year for the second consecutive year!👏

This recognition reflects Gabe’s creativity, dedication and commitment to enhancing the golfer experience while continuing to elevate Skyway’s golf shop and overall guest experience.

Back-to-back honors are no small feat, and we’re proud of Gabe and grateful to have him as part of the KemperSports family.

A great example of how golf facilities are so much more than 18 holes.

Last week, Swenson Park Golf Course welcomed nearly 8,500 spectators and 150 players for the OTB Open presented by MVP Disc Sports, a major annual professional disc golf tournament part of the Disc Golf Pro Tour. In addition to four days of great competition, Swenson Park offered plenty for community residents and fans alike to enjoy, including free mini golf and disc golf, a movie night and an open marketplace full of local vendors and sponsors, all of which helped generate an estimated $1.5 million in economic impact.

Proud of our Swenson Park team for helping bring an event of this scale and significance to life while reminding us all of the great power sports and recreation have to bring communities and people together.

Another meaningful Memorial Day weekend in the books across the KemperSports family.

Patriot Golf Days activations included creative on-course contests, events and community-centric fundraising to support the incredible missions of Folds of Honor and PGA HOPE while honoring our nation's heroes.

One shining example came from our team at Cypress Head Golf Club where General Manager Jeff Dayton, Head Professional Dylan Quintrell and Assistant Professional Kevin Aylwin teamed up to each play 100 holes of golf as part of a HERO100 Golf Marathon. Great job gents!

We’re incredibly grateful to everyone who played, donated, volunteered and supported these efforts throughout the weekend. Golf’s ability to bring people together for something bigger than the game was on full display once again.
