Come visit the new Piping Plovers of Waukegan exhibit on our 2nd floor to discover the remarkable story of this endangered shorebird and learn how volunteers are making a difference in its recovery.

This exhibit is presented in partnership with the Lake County Audubon Society and the Sharing Our Shore–Waukegan initiative. It will be on display through August 12.

Participants include representatives from The Chicago Lighthouse Huber Vision Rehabilitation Center, TotalLink to Community, Glenkirk, Northbrook Disability Inclusion Commission, Keshet, Northfield Township, Northbrook Police Dept., and others.
