Anxiety isn't always obvious.
Sometimes it looks like overthinking every decision.
Replaying a conversation from three days ago.
Imagining every possible thing that could go wrong.
Constantly scanning for problems.
Being your own harshest critic when things aren't perfect.
These thought patterns can feel productive, protective, or even logical—but often they're anxiety in disguise.
The good news? Thoughts are not facts.
The first step toward changing anxious thinking isn't forcing yourself to "think positive." It's learning to notice these patterns with awareness and curiosity so they no longer run the show.
If any of these thought patterns sound familiar, you're not alone. Anxiety is treatable, and with the right support, it's possible to quiet the mental noise and find relief.
Which anxiety-related thought pattern do you notice most in yourself?

School’s out for summer… but emotional struggles don’t always take a vacation. ☀️
As life slows down, many parents notice their teen suddenly seems more anxious, withdrawn, overwhelmed, emotional, or simply “not like themselves.”
In our newest blog, we’re talking about why summer can actually be one of the BEST times to begin therapy — and how support now can help teens build coping skills, confidence, and emotional support before the next school year begins.
Whether your teen is struggling with anxiety, OCD, ADHD, overwhelm, burnout, confidence, or life transitions — you don’t have to navigate it alone. 🤍

When we launched our first Support Group for Parents of Medically Complex Children, we knew there was a need—but we were deeply moved by the connections that formed and the feedback we received from participants.
Parents shared how powerful it was to be in a space where they didn't have to explain their reality, because everyone in the room already understood. We're excited to offer a second round beginning June 22.
This virtual support group is designed for parents navigating the unique challenges of raising a medically complex child. Together, we'll explore topics such as caregiver burnout, medical trauma, chronic grief, uncertainty, identity shifts, relationship strain, and the many emotions that often go unspoken. Most importantly, it's a place to connect with others who truly understand the journey.
✨ Registration is now open!
📅 Mondays, June 22 – August 24
⏰ 8:00–9:30 PM
💻 Virtual | Open to Illinois parents
👥 10-week group led by Michele Quattrocchi, LCPC
Spots are intentionally limited to foster meaningful connection, trust, and support within the group.
If you've been carrying the weight of this journey on your own, we hope you'll join us.
