Vernon Fire Rescue Ladies Auxiliary

Today was a great day for the annual Toy Giveaway!! We were able to have a storage unit donated to store the toys that we have received so far!! It is amazing what is happening for the Giveaway so that we can reach the families in need in Jennings County!! We are grateful for all who have already donated and hoping to receive more wonderful donations!! What we are needing are new toys, gently used toys, monetary donations, or volunteers to help with the setup and the Giveaway itself. If you or someone you know would be able to help, please contact Dena Monday and she will give you the information. Thanks again for the support!!!

Labor Day Festival starts tomorrow in Vernon and we would love to see all of your smiling singing in the rain faces!!! We WILL be setup despite the rain at the fire station!!! Come see us and all of our great volunteer firemen and get a fish sandwich (or tenderloin for those non fish lovers) and then come get some ice cream from the lovely ladies!!!!

It's a new year and we are ready to get started!! We will be doing a lot of activities this year and one major fundraiser will be the cookbook!! We are taking recipes now, please message any member or email us with your recipes so they can be included for the second annual Vernon Fire Rescue Ladies Auxiliary Cookbook!!
