Sewing is a great way to relax – not to mention an amazing way to grow your wardrobe! You only have to look at online community projects to see what a positive impact sewing and dressmaking is having on people’s lives. With mental health problems skyrocketing, sewing is a way to be mindful, stay in the present and get stuck in to a satisfying, rewarding project. We are firm believers that sewing is good for you!

All our instructors are perpetual sewers and learners, most with years of experience and knowledge, but also with a curious nature for learning a new technique or skill. Our mission, which we have accepted, is to engage a generation that has not yet felt the pride of their own workmanship, and to have those with skills start to use them again.
