2019 MacBook Pro 15”. Liquid spill. 5v, no draw. PPBUS_G3H low resistance to ground, in dead short to CPU coils. Shot CPU mosfet. CPU was not shorted, standard low resistance to ground. That gave me hope. Did not inject any voltage at all, lifted CPU coils one by one, found shorted mosfet, replaced it from donor and MacBook is back in business.
Not all shot CPU mosfets will result in shot CPU!

2017 MacBook Air. Board number 820-00165. Someone was here before. Slight liquid damage or leftover residue from previous repair attempt, not sure. All voltages pulsing every 5sec. Checked SPI Resistors - all fine, tried EFI chip from donor - no luck. After another visual inspection area around R1275 had some residue and R1275 was not reading properly at the pads (from top it looked and tested fine). Replaced it and we are back in business.
