Today, Nurse Brandon was giving full-on Pete ‘Maverick’ Mitchell vibes—aviators on, calm under pressure, and ready for whatever the mission throws his way.

Today, the crews of Bayflite 2 and Bayflite 3 had the opportunity to share knowledge and hands-on skills at EMS Day, presented by HCA Florida Blake Hospital at Manatee Technical College.

Our focus: difficult airway management — one of the most critical and high-stakes challenges in prehospital and critical care medicine.

These events aren’t just about teaching—they’re about strengthening the entire EMS community. When we train together, we respond stronger together.
