May 21, 2018 (Windy Hill Beach, South Carolina) - When I was a boy, I recall hearing a notorious bank robber's simple answer to the question "Why do you rob banks?" He said something like "Because that's where the money is." I thought of that answer tonight when reading about some population and economic trends: "Stretching from Australia to India and China, Asiapac [the Asia Pacific region] is home to half of the world’s population and two of its three biggest economies. By 2025, it will account for more than half of the world’s economic output. Similar trends are evident with growth rates, which range from 5pc to 9pc, compared to the 2pc-3pc global average."
A few years ago, I retired from my nuclear power consulting career and moved from being a few minutes drive to the Nuclear Regulatory Commission's headquarters in Rockville, Maryland to being a few minutes walk to the beach here on the Grand Strand of South Carolina. My nuclear business thrived because what I did was something that few, if any, could replicate. When my wife and I moved to the beach, I didn't intend to start a new business, but I quickly decided that I wanted to help residents of my new hometown to thrive economically in this era of unprecedented opportunity. One of my biggest successes has been introducing folks to network marketing, including multi-level marketing (MLM). There are MLM companies that sell a wide variety of products and services, but the key task in each of them is team-building, and if you're involved in an MLM with global operations, you probably ought to be thinking about your international team-building.
International team-building is one of the topics that I emphasize in my monthly FutureBillionaires.org newsletter ($250/yr). It would be a pleasure and an honor to add you to the list of subscribers.
