Looking for a chance to take Wood Badge? Why not take it on the shores of the Chesapeake Bay?
Wood Badge is Scouting's Advanced adult training course, giving leaders the skills they need to strengthen Scouting in meaningful ways. Wood Badge places special emphasis on team development and how to tailor your leadership skills to meet the needs of the group whether youth or adults. Five days in length, the course covers leadership skills, organizational tools, and participatory activities based on the best of Scouting traditions and the best of team development approaches. In addition, participants will enjoy the fellowship of learning alongside many other volunteers and professional Scouters and will have a great deal of FUN!
The next Wood Badge course in Del-Mar-Va Council will take place over two weekends: April 30 - May 2 and May 15 - 16, 2027 at Rodney Scout Reservation. For more information and to register, visit https://scoutingevent.com/081-WoodBadge
The Critter Corner Tour!
Our Nature Lodge houses quite a few pets and wild animals in the Critter Corner. All wild animals and bugs are only housed for one week; here are the critters that can be found there now!
