Be productive not busy. Let's be real running a business can be overwhelming and down right exhausting at times.

Everything can seem like a fire 🔥 that you need to handle immediately. But the reality is most things aren't.

Managing your time and protecting your peace are crucial if you want to avoid burnout while building your business.

Know when to say no and when to push things to a later time.

Prioritize your commitments and things that will grant you the biggest return on your investment of time.

Ask yourself what's the opportunity cost? What are you giving up in order to complete the task you're focused on? 🤔 Is it worth it? Can someone else do it?

These simple things make it easier to determine what should be done from what needs to be done right now.

Make sure the legacy doesn't end with you. We do the ground work so the next generation can start further ahead.

If they really want it they have to do the work to get ready and we have to make sure they're prepared to take over and more importantly make sure they want it and value it. It's a choice not a plan b if all my other ideas don't work out.

It's okay if they have other ambitions. They don't have to take your place running the business to benefit from it. They can be a shareholder or beneficiary to an estate.

The goal is to empower them to be their best not clone yourself.
