Using GarageBand on iPhone
1. Launch GarageBand App
2. Click the + > Create New Song
3. Choose Voice or Instrument (Doesn't matter)
4. Click the red circle to record anything
5. Click the icon that looks like a page
6. Click the loop button (Looks like roller coaster.)
7. Hold on a song that is Bold.
8. Double tap on placeholder track.
9. Choose Delete
10. Use handles to adjust what you want to use
11. Double click on track. Choose Rename
12. Click the triangle in upper left > My Songs
13. Click and hold on your song.
14. Click the send icon
15. Choose Ringtone.
16. It should show up in your ringtones.
Using GarageBand 10.2 or so
1. Open GarageBand
2. File > New
3. Ringtone
4. If your music doesn't show, click on the Media Browser in the upper right (Looks like a camera.)
5. Choose a song from your library.
6. Find the area of the song you want.
7. Use the yellow Cycle area to choose.
8. Save the document.
9. Share > Ringtone to iTunes
10. Plug your phone into the computer.
11. Drag your tone to the phone.
12. Use the ringtone.
Heck this was easy.
