In consideration of my JOYFUL reaction to this being the 4th consecutive day of RAIN; and I have appreciated Every. Single. DROP. 🌧️ 🌧️ 🌧️ ❤️

With the use of NO UMBRELLA.🙅🏾☔️

Why? Because an umbrella is just another “thing” to keep up with! LOL

And because rain is LIFE … and it reminds me of all the things that are about to BLOOM ...

Yes, I am in my “April SHOWERS, bring May FLOWERS” feelings. 🌸🌸🌸🌸❤️

So, … because you have not seen anything YET. The best is still yet to come.

I have read more than 30 “educational/leadership” books; but the one that has remained the most powerful is “The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People”, by Stephen R. Covey …

Which is the reason I always refer to it … now more than ever before.

When the book was first published - in 1989 - Mr. Covey was surprised by its overwhelming success … because he thought he was simply telling people what they already knew: “the efficacy of good behavior”.

He was 57 years of age when the book was first published; and it has sold more than 40 MILLION copies worldwide … and continues to climb.

He died in 2012; and today, I discovered that it was due to complications from a bicycle accident he had a few months prior to his death … and also that as a teenager, his promising athletic career was cut short by degeneration in his legs.

When I connected these two things, it felt as if he was sitting in the room with me, telling me that I will not be finished, until I am DONE …

There is still work to do …

And I am just getting started.
