Welcome little Horton. We picked up this bottle boy on Wednesday. No we definitely did not need him, but he was 4 miles down the road and needed a home. He is a week old today. He is settling in nicely.

I love to grow things....and not just veggie gardens. I have been expanding with a few fig trees, and several varieties of mushrooms- even corn s**t! I recently added in Lemon bush, banana trees, lime bushes, olive trees, guava, peach tree, plum tree, and a few other odds and ends. What I really like, is when I can grow something off a store bought item....butter lettuce, sweet potato slips, potatos.......and now.....the pineapple 😈- insert here- eye roll from Dan. I happened on a video showing how to grow your own pineapple. It looked easy, with very little labor. Off I go Fresh Thyme for a pineapple or two (obviously I'm getting two). Figured I would get started off right and get organic ones, no pesticides. I'm pretty sure I came home with the same brand as Walmart, but paid $2 more. Tonight was the night. I cut the pineapple, I ate the pineapple, and prepared top for planting. Step 1- cut all the flesh away from the base. Step 2- peel of the first 4+ rows of the spikey leaf. Step 3- put the base into water, until it starts growing roots. Step 4- plant in soil. Of course a few of my "helpers" got in on the action.

Charlotte just had twins.
