Welders needed in the Waynesboro area!

Manpower CSRA is looking for a Welder in the Waynesboro area to take on a full-time position. for setting up and operating welding equipment together to perform difficult welding operations on a wide range of metals and alloys for complicated subassemblies and assemblies involving coinciding requirements for high strength pressure and aesthetics. MUST have experience working with stainless steel. ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: • Assemble, align, square up and tack weld a variety of complicated subassemblies and assemblies using 8/Ms, steel tape, straight edge, squarer, clamps, jacks’ fixtures, templates, and similar equipment to facilitate alignment and assembly. • Perform MiG/Tig Welding as required. • Must have the ability to read and interpret blueprints. Must have experience working with hand tools, grinders, air tools, welding machines, measuring tools and other related equipment. • Lift up to 75 lbs. on an occasional basis floor to waist. Lift up to 50 lbs. on a frequent basis floor to waist. • MUST get ASME certification once trained and maintain it. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Postural Demands: Standing continuous Walking continuous Bending/stooping continuous Squatting/kneeling continuous Lifting continuous Miscellaneous Demands: Two person¬ lifting tasks, use of assistive devices for lifting, pushing, and pulling including hand trucks, forklifts, pallet jacks and hoists. High School Diploma/GED. At least one year of formal welding training or the equivalent level of experience. 2+ years of experience operating commercial welder
