Sometimes the best design decisions happen on site, and you can't plan for that.

Site visits are one of the most valuable parts of our new construction process and here's a perfect example of why.

We were doing a paint walkthrough with one of our builders and stopped in the kitchen. Something felt off. We couldn't have seen it on a floor plan or even an elevation. You just have to be in the space.

Standing there, we came up with the idea to two-tone the upper cabinets. It wasn't part of the original plan. But it turned out to be one of our favorite details in the whole home.

That's the difference between designing a space and truly seeing it through. We don't just hand things off and hope for the best. We show up, we pay attention, and we make the calls that need to be made in real time.

Watching a space go from framing to finished never gets old and this one is a perfect example of what's possible when the design is intentional from day one.
