I’m officially on the hunt for sun glitter. ✨

I’ll be taking a little time away this week to enjoy the beach with my family, so my longarms will be taking a vacation too.

I’ll be back to work on July 14 with the machines humming again and ready for your quilts. I’ll also be catching up on messages and scheduling then, so if you’ve reached out while I’m away, I’ll get back to you as soon as I can after I return.

Have a wonderful week, and happy quilting! 🧵 🪡

Sharon made this adorable baby quilt featuring a sweet little goat surrounded by colorful pinwheels. The playful design is full of personality, and I love the bright pops of color against the crisp white background.

We finished it with Malachite, a quilting design that adds wonderful texture while giving this baby quilt the durability it needs for plenty of snuggles, tummy time, and trips through the wash. The cheerful yellow backing really lets the quilting shine.

This is such a fun gift, and I hope it becomes a well-loved favorite for the little one who receives it.

Denise turned a collection of scraps into a quilt that’s full of personality! Every block features a different combination of fabrics, making it fun to slow down and discover all the little details—from wildlife and florals to teacups and so many other prints tucked throughout.

We paired this quilt with Loop the Loop, an all-over design that adds soft movement and texture without taking attention away from the piecing. It was a great choice to tie all of the different fabrics together while keeping the quilt light and playful.

Thank you, Denise, for letting me quilt another one of your beautiful projects!

Andrea dropped off two quilts with very different looks, and both turned out beautifully!

Mod USA is full of patriotic stars, playful black cats, and fabrics celebrating America’s 250th anniversary. We paired it with Star Swirl, which adds texture and movement while keeping the focus on all of the fun piecing.

Compass Confection is packed with bold color and striking geometric design. The Slick quilting pattern complements the quilt with soft texture that enhances the piecing without competing with it.

Thank you, Andrea, for letting me quilt these two beautiful projects. It was fun seeing both of them come together!

Julie shared three very different quilts this week, each one beautifully finished with quilting that complements its unique style.

The Betsy Ross quilt celebrates America’s upcoming 250th birthday with a striking patriotic panel inspired by Elizabeth Griscom Ross. Star Swirl adds movement and stars that echo the patriotic theme throughout the quilt.

Her Language of Flowers panel is full of vibrant botanical illustrations and vintage charm. Quilted in Exquisite, the flowing design adds soft texture while allowing the beautiful floral artwork to shine.

Rounding out the trio is a stunning wholecloth quilt featuring the Rifle Paper Co. floral print. Sometimes a fabric is so beautiful it deserves to take center stage, and this one certainly does. Trellis adds elegant texture while letting the gorgeous blooms remain the focal point.

Three completely different projects, each finished with a quilting design chosen to complement the quilt and its style. 🌟🌸🇺🇸
