Ridership of local fixed routes for November was up 15% compared to ridership numbers in the same month for 2019. Free, accessible transit has proven successful for our system if the question is can public transit be saved.

As numbers continue to strengthen, boards must continue to make investments in innovative ideas. Boards must cultivate strong community and business partnerships to strategically place future invesments to yield higher returns. Transit isn’t some dying mode of transportation, transit is the heartbeat that keeps everyone connected.

I think congress gets it. I mean why else would they double the investment into bus and bus facility programs in the omnibus bill? (I know 🤞🏾)

GRTC fare-free policy extended through 2024 Richmond bus fares will remain free until at least June 2024.

I had the opportunity to join the Seated with Strangers Podcast and discuss issues impacting our community, such as gentrification and the uptick in violence. Yesterday I officially became an Assessment 24x7 DISC Practitioner.
