NADGT Exclusive : To start off I was debating even competing in an amateur event this weekend after deciding going MPO this year. After dropping from New Quarter on Friday I decided to register for this event to get some competitive golf in and maybe get a NADGT invite to Texas this year.

Round 1: To start off I felt great off the tee was hitting a lot of my lines with my Octane and my Resistor. My putt also felt great, I believe I was 100 percent from C1 and hit 2 60+ footers. My approach game definitely held me back all weekend having a limited forehand and coming short and pulling a few approaches over I felt all over the place trying to get up and down on a lot of holes which is very uncharacteristic for me I feel as if my strongest part of my game is when I have the putter in my hand. My poor approach game showed on 27 where I bogeyed to lose the lead in the first round which coming off was upsetting for a very short period of time, I knew there was a lot of golf left to play.

Final Round: Coming on to the final round being down 1 stroke I felt as if I I took one hole at a time I could make up that stroke very easily. Which I did, I felt very strong through the first 9 holes where I held onto the lead. The back 9 my approach game cost me and a bad drive/missed Mando on 25 resulted in a 5. In the past I would’ve been kicking myself and feeling sorry for myself but I stepped up to 26 and threw a pretty good drive and hit a 50 foot up hill birdie to tie it up with one hole to go. Yet again my approach game cost me, great safe drive then early tree (same tree as the first round) and terrible approach shot. After all of this I still had a look from about 60 feet that I chained out to force a playoff. Finishing up I was heartbroken after fighting so hard and bouncing back and playing such a blah round. Finishing at T-3, now it’s back to work and cleaning up my game.

Lastly but not least thank you to Natasha Gustafson and Maverick for supporting me through my ups and downs all weekend I appreciate y’all both so much and love yall. Next thank you to Circles Edge Disc Golf Apparel and Robbie Stewart for believing in me and letting me represent such a great brand and a great bunch of people, I am truly blessed to be sponsored by a great company and family! Thank you for everybody for the support look forward to seeing yall on the course!
