How exactly are you supposed to remove personal data from your devices?

Historically, removing data from electronic devices was done by physical labor including hammering or drilling holes into hard drives. This outdated method does not completely erase data, as it still exists within the drive.

To properly destroy your data, ensure you are recycling your electronics with a trusted electronic recycler that has standards and or certifications to follow. Aka someone who wipes or shreds all data bearing devices like eWaste ePlanet.

There are many items we see recycled very frequently such as TVs or laptops. However, every now and then we come across a true vintage piece of equipment.

Whether its your old radio or latest iPhone, we can recycle pretty much all consumer electronics. We are open Monday through Friday, 8am-3pm for drop offs.

This week, June 12-18, marks Waste & Recycling Workers Week!

Working in waste and recycling is a very intense and often difficult job. When you work for the planet, it takes some hard work!

We are grateful and thankful for all workers in the waste industry this week and always. Your hard work is seen and valid! Thank you for showing up, working diligently, and contributing to a more clean world.
