Hey good people! Had to pop in to keep you updated on our situation with our landlords. We received a letter this Monday demanding that we vacate the premises and remove all our belongings by this Saturday.
They forced us to sign an amendment back in November that we would not speak about our situation publicly or else we would be subject to immediate termination. This horrible amendment to our lease, among others, was approved by our city council. We have decided to no longer allow them to threaten and silence us. They are in no position to take away our first amendment right, especially with them being a state-run board.

We've been afraid of retaliation for too long now and have decided to take our power back and take a firm stand against this abuse of power.

We will not be vacating the premises, unless a judge requires it, which is highly doubtful with the list of wrongs they have racked up

* Possible environmental/air quality exposure
* Financial damages
* Retaliation
* Possible constitutional/free speech concerns
* Potential abuse of authority by a public board
* Possible civil rights concerns

Hey City of Norcross - Government it is YOUR duty to make sure the Downtown Development Authority does their job, and you have failed miserably.

We will not go away quietly.

Oh, btw, it's 85 degrees in here today, with no customers, no hot griddle and both ACs on full blast, and it's only the middle of May 😩 Not one promise by our council members has been fulfilled.
