OTC Agriculture Program

Our PAS students had the opportunity to compete in the PAS Conference the past three days! The following students will have the opportunity to compete at the national level in march!
Ag Education- Madison Cowles 1st place
Ag Sales- Libby Shaver 1st place
Prepared public speaking- Emma Parrigon 1st place
Crop science- Caleb Thompson 3rd place
Dairy Specialist- Audrey Venable 5th place & Emma Parrigon 4th place
Livestock Specialist- Kaylee Sullivan 1st place, Libby Shaver 3rd place & Kimberly Keopke 4th place
Animal Health/ Vet tech- Libby Shaver 1st place, Cadence Fox 3rd place, Katie Dorritie 4th place
Farm Bureau Discussion meet- Caleb Thompson 1st place& Madison Cowles 4th place

🦅Ozarks Tech Richwood Valley's brand-new Technical Training Center won't open for classes until Monday, but students are already amped. 💙Ag student Peyton Whitaker says the program's growing popularity has made extra learning space a must, especially for the dairy and meats labs, where students sample foods like cheese and learn exactly how they're made. (Peyton's POV:cheddar = V, brie = X.)With 200+ ag students enrolled every year, and now 19,000+ sq. ft. of new space, the TTC is a huge win for the agriculture and lineworker programs at RVC. 🎓Class of 2026 👩‍🌾A.A., General Agriculture 🎯Career goal: Agricultural Lobbyist
