This is John McCarthy, a real life Super Hero! Back in 2024, something in John's heart told him to go a different way home from work. Where most of us would ignore this, he did not. Unbeknownst to him, he was going to be at the right place at the right time.

As John was approaching the Burlington Bristol Bridge, he noticed someone was about to jump off the bridge. John leaped into action and saved his life! He believes it was a God moment that redirected his path that night.

John will be awarded 2026 Burlington County Citizen of the year for his heroism on May 7th. Our WSC family congratulates John, and is beyond proud to know him!
