If all our muscles worked as we think they work, would we all not have relatively defined bodies? Now one with a extremely high body fat percentage this would not apply. Women tend to only need to be in the high teens and low 20’s to have a toned appearance. Where men need to be mor in a low teen to single digit to have the same appearance. Could this be due to men’s muscle size and strength they start to distort the body early on in our lives?
I think we all can have well defined muscles if ones muscle where all working more appropriately. You see when one muscle becomes tight its opposing muscle must work harder. If this continues throughout our lives. Repeating this process by the time we are in our 40’s. Our muscles must be extremely tight. This can be seen in everyone’s movements. Most easily it can be seen in someone’s posture. If one becomes tight through this process would one not then need to stretch to reverse the process? Instead, we think we can force our bodies into theses postures or movements that we are supposed to be in and or doing.
That is like taking a iron rod and bending it with our bare hands. I think that would be a daunting task. The great thing about our bodies though is that they are incredibly resilient. You see with its resilience it can sustain this type of punishment throughout our entire lives. We have though been looking at ways to fix what is broken with surgery and exercise. When we should have been looking at ways to release our muscles and fascia in a way that is lasting. So, we then do not need surgery and exercise then can be used to help sustain these new movement patterns that can be obtained through stretching.
We just never fully understood what happens to our bodies over time and we never knew a way to truly start to move the fascia into a better state allowing us to move like we used to. Instead of trying to force our bodies into doing what we want it to. We can now with a systematic approach loosen our fascia in ways I never thought possible. Improving all aspects of life. Combine this with stretching and exercise and anything is once again possible.
One must start with releasing the hips and legs. To start this process and with the technology of today and a new perspective on how our bodies work. We can start to undo year of bad habits. With first breaking up the scar tissue that holds us back from moving the way we want to. I am happy to say I have started this process with myself and others and have had great results. I continue to find innovative ways to speed this process up. As well as working now on things people can do on their own to better understand what happens to their bodies over time. So, they too can be more proactive in achieving the results everyone seeks. That to move better, feel better and have more time to do the things they love.
