“I’ve been the happiest since I’ve had children.
I’ve also been at my lowest.
I’m a much better version of myself.
I also haven’t always liked what I’ve seen when mirrors have been held up to me.
I’ve never been in more company.
And at times never felt so lonely.
Some days I don’t want to end.
Some days I wish away, oh and the guilt from feeling that when they grow so fast.
I’ve never been so sure of who I’m meant to be.
I’ve never wondered so much who I am.
I’ve never felt closer with my husband.
But at times, I’ve never felt more distant.
I believe in myself, I trust myself.
I’ve questioned myself and doubted myself.
I always want to be better for them.
But I’ve yelled and cried and wished I’d handled certain situations better.
I’ve never loved so hard and so fiercely.
And I’ve never felt so vulnerable.
I’ve never been more broken.
And I’ve never been more complete.
I’ve never smiled so much.
I’ve never cried so much.
I’ve never craved alone time more.
But when I am I always feel like somethings missing, like an arm.
I’ve never been so excited to watch them grow.
And simultaneously wished they’d stay little forever.
Some days I feel like I’ve achieved nothing.
But as I think of them at night, I know I’ve achieved everything.
I’ve never looked forward to so much.
And I’ve also, never looked back.
It’s one beautiful contradiction.
A journey of wrong turns that are probably still right.
And dreams of the future even if you don’t get enough sleep to dream.
Exhaustion but effortless love.
The hardest and most rewarding thing ever.
Motherhood. ✨"

When you are ready to price out your services here are a few questions to ask yourself.
If you are supplying the hair or purchasing from a company, you need to make sure you ask yourself how much does it cost?
This means shipping costs, packaging, card processing fees and/or fees charged by the company or vendor.
If you are supplying the hair then you should ask yourself how much does it cost to run my business successfully?
As an entrepreneur there are many expenses that we need to track. A lot of the times we forget what we are actually paying for to run successfully. Keep in mind that if you are paying software services (Quickbooks, Square, website) then you need to make sure you factor in these costs in all of your services. The only way to stay afloat in your business and begin making a profit is to allow yourself space to thrive.
The last thing you want to do is charge what “sally” next door is charging because you think its reasonable & you end up paying out of pocket in the end.
Sit down and give yourself the space to write down EVERYTHING you are paying for to run your business. And I mean everything and factor in that number to your pricing for what you do. You want to be able to offer the best possible service and if you are undercharging then you will burn yourself out in the end.
You don’t want to overcharge either of course. But know your numbers. Everything that goes in and everything that goes out. That is the ONLY way you will know exactly what to charge.
Day 7 of 30 days of extensions (Tuesdays & Thursdays)
// A waiver form is a document that your client will sign before receiving any kind of installation service.
Why is it important to have a waiver/application?
1. They are able to acknowledge what you have spoken about.
2. Allow you to clarify anything they did not understand
3. Protects you as a stylist if anything should go wrong due to negligence or abuse of extensions.
You want to make sure you protect yourself as a stylist/entrepreneur. if anything should go wrong due to negligence or abuse of extensions, they will have signed off understanding that it is not your fault.
You don’t want your customer to come back saying “you never told me that” or “I didn’t get that information” so cover your butt at all costs because while there are some amazing people in the world… there are also those who like to try and take advantage.
Be clear with your marketing so you can attract the right person & use an online application to be able to help when it comes to finding your ideal customer.
You want to make sure you can keep a track record of everything. Protect your craft, your reputation and your time.
// If you need some tips on creating an online application feel to PM me! & if you want a copy of my personal online extensions form click the link below and I’ll send you a plug and play copy. Use it word for word or as a reference I am okay with it either way.

You guys.. I’m writing my first ever EBOOK!
A while back I gave myself space to think about what I really wanted out of my life and business. Actually I do this often. But one specific time I wrote down what I wanted to do, how I wanted to do it and when. I was able to find out what really lights me up and what I need to let go of in my life… and I followed the love.
Now, life happens and there’s not always a straight shot to the goal but I do always make it a priority to continue my journey until I get there. Part of this journey was creating an ebook for my Stylist friends, since helping to lift my fellow entrepreneurs up was something that lit my soul. For a while, I couldn’t figure out exactly on what I could write about to help, but I finally realized what it was.
I’ve been getting asked over and over again on suite rental info. What the process is like, how to do it, where and more. I figured putting together a step by step book that entails EVERYTHING you should know and do before you decide to rent your own salon suite. From mindset to practices you should take in order to make the BYOBOSS move. All the legal stuff and even a nice checklist to keep on hand when you take the leap. All of the things I wish I knew when I started my own small business.
I am excited to be doing what I love most and though I am still in the process of writing this ebook, I wanted to share my excitement with you!
