Summer Grilling Tip 🔥
When food is cooked at very high temperatures, over an open flame or grill, compounds called polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) can form. PAHs are known carcinogens, and can also affect reproduction and immune function.
To reduce their formation, cook at lower temperatures when possible, avoid excessive charring, and use marinades before grilling.
Enjoy your barbecue while making it a little healthier. ☀️
