On May 27, 2026, members of the Coweta County Fire Rescue Special Operations Team conducted rescue training exercises on the Chattahoochee River. As we prepare for the busy summer season, when the river sees increased activity from boaters, anglers, kayakers, and swimmers, our team remains committed to maintaining the skills and readiness needed to respond when help is needed most.

Through ongoing training and preparation, Coweta County Fire Rescue is ready to serve and protect our community both on and around the water.

On this Memorial Day, we honor the brave men and women who gave everything for our freedom.

Their courage and devotion will never be forgotten.

We're hiring for a Resource Manager, who will play a vital role in ensuring we are always ready to serve our community!

Key responsibilities include:
📻 Overseeing maintenance of mobile and portable radios for the department
📦 Managing station inventory and equipment, including household items and gear extractors
🚒 Ensuring all fire apparatus are properly equipped to respond to emergencies
🚑 Scheduling and coordinating annual equipment maintenance inspections and repairs for EMS equipment
