🐴 Future Sale Horse Update: Seraph
Spring has sprung in Oklahoma, and it’s time to start riding the young horses again.
Seraph had about 20 rides last summer and into the fall. She got a good, solid start. She’s had a break since January, but we’ll be picking back up next week. We’ll put a few rides on her here at home, and then she’ll be ready to get started on cows.
We’ve got calves hitting the ground daily right now, and that’s our favorite way to introduce a young horse to cattle—by moving quietly through the herd. Seraph will be for sale later this year, once she’s had some real miles put on her.
She’ll be started on sorting, have a rope swung off her, and get plenty of trail miles. We’ll likely haul her to a few local shows this summer to get her some exposure, too.
This mare meets you at the gate and loves to work. She prefers things to be her idea—but she’ll negotiate if yours don’t quite align with hers. She’s small but strong, with a lot of try. We’re being mindful not to push her too fast; she’s the type who would go until she drops if you let her.

Seraph is people-oriented, curious, and bred for versatility. With her size and build, she should make a solid partner for a smaller rider looking for heart, depth, and quality high percentage foundation breeding.

The Full Siblings
In my opinion, the Flyhawk x Sentola cross was magic. They produced several full siblings who each carved out their own legacy in different regions and disciplines. This cross, and these horses, are a powerful example of the versatility and lasting influence of our breed.
• Jubilee Joy (1941): Produced many influential horses in and out of the show ring, including Foxfire, Mickey Finn, La Joya, and Torchfire.
• Warhawk (1942): Beloved mount of Ab Cross of the Cross Ranch in Dubois, WY. A top ranch horse who founded a dynasty.
• Stetson (1944): Also bound for the West. Left his mark through his get bred by Ramul Dvarishkis of Hamilton Dome, WY.
• Sentana (1945): Bred several times by the University of Connecticut, shaping many show ring lines.
• Top Flight (1948): A ranch sire for Warner Angus Ranch in Jetmore, KS.
• The Airacobra (1950): Left a deep mark on the show ring and sport horse world, especially through his son Mr Breezy Cobra.
I have sought out these lines to build my program over time. I consider it a privilege to carry their influence forward.
