Proud to share MRW has served as a partner for the Obama Presidential Center! Our role included providing the millwork for the theater, the presidential museum, a new library branch for the Chicago Public Library, makerspace, private and communal spaces, restaurant and exterior gathering spaces! This was a whole team effort over the last few years; from estimating to engineering to production to finish to shipping!

Mark and Teresa Richey were honored to join a preview and celebratory reception at the National Geographic Museum of Exploration prior to its opening.
The preview unveiled a first look at Mark Richey Woodworking’s stunning sculptural woodwork made of New England ash trees. The Museum of Exploration opened on June 26th in downtown Washington, D.C.

We were so proud to be on the Lakeside Alliance team for the newly opened Obama Presidential Center! Some of the areas we provided the millwork for; the theater, the presidential museum, a new library branch for the Chicago Public library, private and communal spaces, a makerspace, restaurants and exterior benches!

Today is the day! The National Geographic Museum of Exploration is open, and years of work by our incredible team to turn ash trees into stunning sculptural millwork is ready for all to view.
