While it may sound odd, having a self-storage unit can actually give you freedom. That’s because you have the option of switching out and rotating your furnishings.

When renting a self-storage unit, you may be required, or at least offered, insurance. In the unlikely event your stored items are stolen or damaged, insurance can replace those items. Self-storage insurance may very well be less expensive than home-owner’s or renter’s insurance.
